VISIT NIGERIA, AFRICA'S HOME OF TOURISM

Over the years, majority of Nigerians have never hidden their preference to travel outside the country for tourism. According to figures released by the Cental Bank of Nigeria, Nigerians spent over 9.01 billion dollars on foreign travels in 2009 alone. If these lush funds were retained here in Nigeria, it can turn around the entire tourism and travels sub sectors of our dwindling economy.
Interestingly, many players in the tourism and hospitality sub-sectors in Nigeria agree that the sector can contribute meaningfully to foreign exchange earnings and help balance our national economy and set it on the part of growth. Nigeria, no doubts, is a potential tourist paradise which boasts of good tropical weather, variety of wildlife, awe-inspiring waterfalls, historical relics, captivity beaches and rolling hills, coupled with the warm-hearted and culturally active people.
